Leaning Tower of Toronto

Leaning Tower of Toronto

The learning tower of Toronto is one of the most beautiful tourist spots of all time. In early 1960, the Brobdingnagian tower took to leaning sidewards and within just months, had made a mind blowing angle of 65.2 degrees with the horizon. In 1987, engineers from all over Canada came together and pondered over how best to save their national monument.

Later, a 20 tonne steel guy wire was used to bring back the world's largest free-standing structure to an acceptably erect position. Apparently the soil below the structure has loosened even more in the last couple years and has caused the tower to sink even more deeply and stoop ever so subtly.

If you believed even one word of what I said above, then you should probably take an introductory course in "how to learn to not believe Rajesh in 3 easy steps."

It actually took me six tries to get the leaning effect I wanted.
